An olfactory test provides insights into potentially dormant talents that may be awakened through scent during the massage in Preidlhof’s Garden Spa. A vial of the personalized scent is provided to take home.

KNEIPP EXPERIENCE approx. 100 min.

This excellent body treatment alternates hot and cold water to reactivate natural energy. The therapist chooses techniques including brushing, washing, body wrap, and massage to relax or energize the body and mind.

COLOR HEALING MASSAGE approx. 60 min. + 15 min.

A fragrant, sensory massage with oils crafted to release the potent healing power of crystal, sounds, and chromotherapy.

Following a color test, the therapist selects oils to achieve desired results.

Casual garments can be worn for breakfast service.
At lunch, guests are free to wear their resort robe or comfortable clothing.
For dinner service, guests are asked to dress in smart casual attire.

What to Pack

Preidlhof will provide a backpack, a waist bag and water bottle to utilize for activities during your stay. You will also be provided with a robe, spa slippers and a spa bag.
Fitness clothing, swimwear and loose-fitting clothes are recommended for your daily activities.
Walking shoes and/or running shoes are recommended for forest bathing and any walking activities. We would also recommend packing a lightweight waterproof jacket and warm fleece for any outdoor or night-time activities. Weather can vary from season to season so packing layers is advisable. Sunscreen is always advised.

The cuisine is a highlight of every stay and Preidlhof’s Restaurant has been awarded three toques by Gault Millau.Preidlhof’s close relationship with the gastronomic culture and traditions of South Tyrol enables it to offer guests a series of zero-carbon products.The Resort grows, cultivates, and harvests many of the local products and regional delicacies themselves in the direct relationship between agriculture, cooking, and the art of transformation.

All meals at Preidlhof are included in the price of the stay, including:

An extensive breakfast is served daily including a wide variety of hot and cold options, an organic selection, a vast array of teas as well as a health food corner and “vitamin bar”.
Healthy buffet lunch served daily from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, enabling guests to fit this around spa treatment schedule, fitness, and outdoor activities. Guests on the Lighten Up: Reshape & Regenerate Retreat have highly nutritious and flavorsome plant-based soups.

In the evenings: Retreat Guests enjoy the Gourmet Wellness Healing Menu in the Wellness VIP Lounge. Designed in conjunction with Mindful Eating experts, this fine dining experience blends the principles of a Mediterranean Diet and Italian and South Tyrolean influences. The menu is plant-based with seasonal ingredients and free of gluten, soya, sugar, and lactose. Guests not participating in an individual health program or on a retreat are offered a seven-course gourmet dinner in the dining room.

Inserted in the natural context of Naturns, in Merano, at the foot of the Texel Group Nature Park (South Tyrol), Preidlhof offers a unique experience to live the territory and regenerate body and spirit.

Declared “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO, the splendid Dolomite landscape protects and frames the hotel, which benefits from a mild climate and Mediterranean vegetation turning into alpine pastures at high altitudes, dominated by glaciers and snowfields. The landscape is really varied thanks to the coexistence of different climatic zones.

How to get there by PLANE

Transfers can be arranged from Bolzano Airport (BZO) Italy or Innsbruck Airport (INN) Austria, or Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN), and Venice Municipal Airport (VNC) in Italy.

There is a free shuttle service from Naturno Station to Preidlhof. Preidlhof also provides free underground parking for guests.

A Nature guide and landscape architect, Irmgard Moosmair takes guests to the most beautiful woods where they can bathe immersed in unspoiled nature, discover new paths and panoramic views.

A keen herbalist, she prepares "tailor-made" herbal blends for guests and offers alpine incense rituals, inviting everyone to question "the narrowness of one's life created by an excessive lifestyle".

Raised on a mountain farm at the bottom of Val Passiria as one of the youngest of eight children, Irmgard has always stood out for her deep thirst for knowledge and her insatiable curiosity.

At a young age, she worked as the maid of a wealthy Veronese family, and then, as a "bellboy" for various tourist attractions during which, she especially enjoyed interacting with the visitors.

After an intense period as a wife and mother, she undertook in-depth study trips in different fields of naturopathy which enabled her to conduct workshops and seminars.
