Ekkorelax is a health and wellbeing center located in the countryside, 6 km away from Betera town and 23km from Valencia city center and beaches.We offer guests from all over the world a relaxing all-inclusive retreat experience in our quiet and welcoming retreat center.Start your refreshing holiday retreat with a yoga class and enjoy a healthy breakfast before taking a walk or maybe relaxing on your sunbed with a good book.After lunch and a nap, you can enjoy a second yoga class of the day. During your free time, you can also try a Reiki session.
There is a weekly program of activities on offer. All activities are optional so you can do as much or as little as you want. Find inner peace and leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and more like you.
Yoga
Yoga is a core part of the program, and we cater for beginners and people with an intermediate level of practice.Studies have proven yoga to be one of the best ways to reduce stress, lower blood pressure and relieve symptoms such as insomnia, depression, and anxiety. Yoga also helps to improve overall fitness, strength, and flexibility.There are two yoga classes every day, one 60 minutes and the second class either 60 or 90 minutes depending upon the day. There is one all-levels class each day and sessions are in English but also can be held in Spanish if needed.Most of the yoga classes are Hatha based, although we offer a range of different yoga styles. If you are new to yoga, this is your opportunity to try something new!
The common theme underlying yoga at our center is to help you to get back in touch with the inner you, to find balance, strength, flexibility and inner peace.Where possible, the yoga classes are held outdoors surrounded and enjoying the sound of nature. You will leave your short holiday break feeling relaxed and rejuvenated from your time at the retreat.
Other activities
Each day there are other activities that you can take part in, like horse riding, guided walks or an excursion to the beach.
Horse riding
Each week there is a wonderful horse riding opportunity in a certified placed and all levels are welcome. Even if you have done it several times or if it is your first time, you will enjoy this experience for sure!
Guided walks
Our location by the Sierra Calderona natural park makes the surrounding area a great one to explore, enjoy the scenery, mountain, and fresh air.We encourage all guests to join our guided walks, which gives you some of the very best views of Sierra Calderona. Various routes can be followed depending upon your desired level of activity.
