Description
list the major aspects of your Retreat you would like to bring forward (make it concise)
This yoga retreat is hidden amidst a fragrant grove of fruit trees with hypnotic aromas of gardenia, jasmine, bougainvillea, narcissus, lemon, and orange trees opening up the senses and tuning you into the present moment. The here and now. Expect to be immersed in nature as our beautiful boutique accommodation is located on a 9-acre organic garden with lots of space to relax amongst nature or to enjoy one of the 5 pools. This retreat includes twice daily yoga and meditation practices offering you the perfect chance to deepen your understanding of both the physical yoga practice as well as the supporting yoga philosophy and theory.
Discover your own individual practice with the assistance of our passionate and experienced yoga teacher, Ines Stephan. You will have the opportunity to learn about the many pranayama (breathing) techniques as well as learning about chakra, bandha, and mudra, and how they assist to redirect precious energy, life force (prana), within your body. We will also explore the 8 limbs of yoga (Yama, Niyama, Pranayama, Asana, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana). Through these learnings, you will develop a greater understanding of your own yoga practice as we explore the topics below (and more!).
- How to protect your joints through the practice of preparation sets that move synovial fluid, properly warm up the tendons and ligaments enabling better mobility.
- How to create core strength, synergistically increase blood flow to the muscles preparing muscle fibers for deep stretching in order to release muscle and spinal tension enabling a more oxygenated body.
- How to build up concentration, calm and restore your body and mind, balance your hormonal levels leading to deeper meditation/relaxation at the end of the practice.
- How to return to your true self. It is about the journey, and this is why each lesson follows the one before it.
We believe that beginners and experts can enjoy their practice together, and each session ends with a meditation and relaxation period.
