Himalayan Yoga Academy Nepal

Himalayan Yoga Academy is the first Yoga Center established for the promotion of spiritual and yoga tourism in Nepal since 2007. The Academy has been run by qualified yoga masters, experienced registered yoga Teachers, fully professionals located on the lap of Nagarjun Jungle in Kathmandu.

Surroundings Description

Nepal is home to thousands of monasteries. Beautiful Monasteries can be found all over Nepal in beautiful locations. Pharping is a small town that is around 23km southwest of Kathmandu Valley. Tibetans know Pharping as Yanglesho and Nepali call it Pharping. Pharping is the place where Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) had attended enlightenment. So, it is one of the most sacred sites related to him. For Tibetan Buddhists, the hills of Pharping are believed to be as sacred as Bodhigaya in India.Within the area of Pharping, there are two sacred caves, Asura cave and Yanglesho cave on the mountainside, and several Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries, and retreat centers in and around this small town.

A monastery is a building for persons (monks) under religious vows. Normally, a monastery consists of workplaces of monks, a place for prayers, a dormitory, a refectory, a library, an infirmary, and a balneary. Monks and nuns practice monastic life in the monastery, governed by community rules. Also in recent times, various monasteries in Kathmandu have progressed into a center of learning Buddhism.Our Academy is also a sanctuary for those seeking a respite from life.

He himself was struggling to find the ultimate happiness, having met many Vedic and tantric gurus from Nepal and India. It was through Bhakti and Kriya Yoga that his awareness began to grow, but his ultimate awakening came through Chandi sadhana and mantra yoga.Since that time he has been approaching people through awareness programs in Nepal, some Asian countries as well.He will be speaking on Chandi (Durga) realization and will present short mantras during a ritual called Hawan (putting seed in the sacred fire for spiritual purification).

He is very specialized with deep knowledge and experiences of teaching in different ways of contemporary mind of worldly people and one who is seeking to liberate different ways; Buddhist, Tibetan, Osho, Zen, Tao, Traditional, Vedic, etc.He is an experienced registered yoga teacher as well as a meditation master.
